11th annual Winter’s Eve Corvallis, sponsored by Assistance League® in cooperation with downtown merchants.
This greatly anticipated annual event is the traditional kick-off to the Corvallis holiday season. Shops will stay open late and offer exclusive discounts to ticket holders, who will enjoy an evening of fine food samplings from over 30 local restaurants and caterers. Desserts, wine, champagne, beer, soft drinks, and Starbucks coffee will be available to attendees.
Attractions will include a silent auction with an exciting array of items. Popular Assistance League packaged foods and other specialty items will be for sale. Participating stores will stamp ticket booklets so that attendees can enter the “Snowflake Drawing” for a chance to win a beautiful gift basket.
Well-known local artist Jan Roberts-Dominguez has created an original painting that will provide the visual theme for the event. This beautiful artwork, entitled The Ride Home, features a horse-drawn sleigh about to cross the scenic Irish Bend Covered Bridge, which now sits on the campus of Oregon State University. It will be available in the form of unique ornaments and boxed holiday cards. It can also be special ordered as a print from the artist.

A Note of Thanks!
We would like to thank all of the downtown merchants, restaurants, and community members for supporting our Winters Eve fundraising event. Even though the evening was chilly, and roads slick with snow, inside the tent we were warm, cozy and merry. It was truly a magical evening. After 10 years of depicting winter snow scenes on our ticket booklets, posters and stationery, we got what we asked for, a winter wonderland for Winters Eve. And, oh my, was it beautiful! When we let the radio and TV stations as well as our membership know that the tent was up and party was "on" all who could showed up and had a fabulous evening. We are so very thankful for the support of our community. With your support we are able to continue to serve the needy children of our community. For that, we are eternally grateful.
