Assistance League volunteers transforming the lives of children and adults through community programs.

For more than 50 years, Assistance League of Corvallis has been meeting the needs of Benton County.  We look forward to continuing our commitment to our current programs and our local communities.

Assistance League of Corvallis members and families mark 50 years of service in Benton County.

Our chapter has no paid personnel. Programs and fundraising activities are staffed by over 200 members.  Annually, our member volunteers

  • contribute in excess of 19,000 volunteer service hours to Benton County;
  • clothe over 1000 children with new outfits and shoes to give them adequate clothing for school through Operation School Bell®;
  • provide classroom books to new teachers in Benton County;
  • provide household and personal supplies for families in need in Corvallis, Monroe, Alsea and Philomath schools;
  • provide approximately 975 sixth graders with dental hygiene kits and give teachers our award-winning video, “The Power of Healthy Teeth;” for classroom use;
  • supply teddy bears for distribution by fifteen agencies, including the Oregon State Police.
